Test: A Trip to the Zoo
Read the text and answer the questions.
The sun was shining brightly as Lily and her family arrived at the zoo. They were excited to see all the animals. First, they saw the playful monkeys swinging from the trees. Next, they watched the graceful giraffes munching on leaves high up in the air. Lily was amazed by how tall they were! After that, they visited the lion enclosure. The lions roared loudly, and Lily covered her ears. The zookeepers were feeding them special meat treats. Later, they saw the colourful parrots in a large cage, chattering happily. The family had a delicious lunch in the zoo’s cafe. After lunch, they saw the playful penguins waddling around in their pool. Lily loved how clumsy they were! Finally, they saw the sleepy bears resting in their den. They were so cute! The day ended with a visit to the souvenir shop. Lily chose a beautiful postcard of a monkey. She couldn’t wait to show her friends all about her amazing trip to the zoo.
