I think that one of the most well-known man-made slights is Petergof.

Peterhof includes a palace and park ensemble

The Peterhof Palace. This palace was built in St.Petersburg in the seventeen twenty three year by Peter the first . In the palace there are thirty rooms with painted ceilings and parquet.

Also in the large palace there are two beautiful cabinets in the chinese style. Western and East chinese cabinets are located in the Petr ‘s part of the palace.

Upper Park. It was built in seventeen twenty four year according to plan of architect Rastrelli. It has five fountains, five cascades. One of the most famous is the Neptune fountaine and cascade Chess Mountaine.

It was created in seventeen twenty one year, when Russia defeat Sweden. Peter the first decided to perpetuate the memory of this event to bild the cascade.

Lower park. Here there are more than one hundred fifty fountains and four cascades. The most famous is the cascade with the Samson fountain .
