Gerund is used:   As a noun Ex. Walking is good exercise. After certain verbs ( admit, appreciate, avoid, consider, continue, delay, deny, escape, excuse, discuss, enjoy, fancy, finish, forgive, imagine, involve, keep (continue), mention, mind, miss, object to, postpone, practice, prevent, recollect, resent, resist, risk, suggest, etc. Ex. They discussed selling the company.

Gerund is used:

  • As a noun

Ex. Walking is good exercise.
