Revision. Getting ready for a test.
Цели урока:
Практическая цель: к концу урока учащиеся смогут использовать ранее изученный грамматический материал при выполнении заданий контрольной работы;

Языковой и речевой материал: грамматические конструкции “tag questions”, “the present simple tense”, “to like / enjoy/ go +doing”, “possessive pronouns” (my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their).

Сообщение целей урока: today we will revise all the grammar rules you’ve learnt and get ready for a test.
Повторение ранее изученного грамматического материала и его тренировка. Выполнение упражнения на подстановку для контроля понимания темы “Possessive pronouns”.
Прочитайте диалог и вставьте в пропуски подходящие по смыслу притяжательные местоимения. Личные местоимения в скобках – подсказка для вас. (Read the dialogue carefully and fill in the gaps with appropriate possessive pronouns. The personal pronouns in brackets will help you).

Timmy is English because his parents are both English, but he is also Canadian because he lives in Canada. He is from Ottava. He speaks English and French.
Timmy gets up at seven o’clock and takes a shower. He usually watches TV until breakfast. He has breakfast at 8 o’clock. Timmy likes to eat jam on toast and he also drinks a glass of milk.
He gets to school at quarter to nine. Lessons start at 9 o’clock. His favourite subject at school is science and he is good at history but hates maths. He has lunch at school at half past twelve. School finishes at 3.30 p. m. and Timmy gets home at four o’clock.
In the evenings, Timmy usually does his homework before watching more TV. Mother helps him with his homework. He always goes to bed before 11 p. m. because he likes to get up early in the morning.
Every Saturday his family goes to town to the open market where his mother buys fruit and vegetables. Sometimes they go for a walk.
