«Places to eat in the UK»

Цель: оценить, обобщить, систематизировать и скорректировать знания учащихся по теме «Еда».

Образовательная: развитие навыков говорения, аудирования, чтения и письма по теме «Еда»; отработка произносительных навыков; информировать о питании; совершенствовать коммуникативные компетенции в диалогической и монологической речи; умение различать исчисляемые и неисчисляемые существительные; употреблять неопределенные местоимения (some, any, much, many, how much, how many, a lot of).

Развивающая: развивать память, мышление, речь, сенсорную сферу; развитие тонкости различия звуков интонаций речи; развитие мотивации к изучению иностранного языка и навыка языковой догадки; совершенствование внимания, коммуникативных навыков, а также способности к самоконтролю, самооценке, самокоррекции; развитие умений работать в группах, логически мыслить и делать выводы.

Воспитательная: способствовать формированию устойчивого интереса к изучению иностранного языка; воспитание настойчивости и терпения в достижении учебной цели; формирование понятия «о здоровом и правильном питании»; гуманное отношение, терпимость, тактичность, дисциплинированность, ответственность, а также само – и взаимоконтроль.

Методы: индивидуальная и парная работа; аудирование; чтение информации; диалогическая и монологическая речь.

Тип урока: обобщение и систематизация знаний.

Технологии: кейс – технология.

Оборудование: мультимедийные технологии; дидактический материал.

Ход урока:

1. Организационный этап.

• Good afternoon girls and boys! I am glad to see you! Sit down, please and get ready for the lesson. So, let’s start. Don’t worry and smile.

1. Фонетическая зарядка.

Children, tell me, please:

• Who is on duty today? (I’m on duty today).

• Who is absent? (… is absent; …. Are absent; all present).

• What season is it now? (it’s spring).

• What is the month now? (it’s April).

• What is the weather like for today? (it’s sunny, cloudy…).

• What is the day today? (it’s Tuesday).

• What is the date today? (it’s the 2nd of April).

1. Речевая разминка.

1. Pupils, now, will you answer my questions:

• Do you like to eat a bar of chocolate for breakfast?

• What bread do you prefer black or white?

• Do you like to eat sweets?

• Do you have a cup of tea or coffee for lunch?

• What is your favourite food?

• Do you like porridge with butter?

• What is your favourite drink?

• What fruits do you like?

• Do you eat fast food?

• Where do you prefer to eat?

1. You answered well, and now look at the blackboard, please. You must read the names of food, translate them. And then, answer my questions:

• What are they common?

• What are they different?

• Which of the words countable or uncountable and write the words in the two columns?

Countable: apples, onions, cake, eggs, pizza, chicken, cucumbers, bananas, carrots, cheeseburger.

Uncountable: water, honey, rice, olive oil, porridge, coffee, chocolate, dread, butter, cheese.

1. Применение кейс – метода. Систематизация знаний.

• Now, children, look at the screen and tell me...

• What do you see? (I can see restaurants, bars and cafes…).

• Right, name me the theme of our lesson?

• The theme of our lesson is «The places to eat in the UK».

• I’ll give you a card with situation. Open your books on page 91 ex.5.

A group of tourists come to London. They're going to have lunch. The problem is that everyone has different tastes. Some people like vegetarian, meat, seafood or fast food. Discuss the tastes of tourists groups and select one cafe.

(Группа туристов приехала в Лондон. Они собираются пообедать. Сложность в том, что вкусы у всех разные. Одни любят вегетарианскую, мясную кухню, морепродукты или фастфуд. Обсудите вкусы туристов и выберите одно кафе.)

Вывод: There are many different eating places in the UK. You can eat at restaurants on special occasions or at sandwich bars where you can have a light meal. Fish and chips shops are also very popular. Pie and mash shops offer meat pies, mashed potatoes etc.

1. Физминутка.

• Let’s have a rest! (гимнастика для глаз).

1. Закрепление материала. Составление диалога по теме «Ordering food». («Заказ еды»).

• I offer to you to imagine that you are the tourists, came to the café and do the ordering food. Use the following words and make up the dialogue, please.

“Ordering food”

• Take away, please.

• Can I take your order, please?

• I’d like a large cheeseburger, please.

• Would you like anything to drink with that?

• Is that eat in or takeaway?

• Here you are.

• An orange juice, please.

• Enjoy your meal.

• Thank you.

For example,

Man: Can I take your order, please?

Ann: I’d like a large cheeseburger, please.

Man: Would you like anything to drink with that?

Ann: An orange juice, please.

Man: Is that eat in or takeaway?

Ann: Take away, please.

Man: That’s 3 dollars, please.

Ann: Here you are.

Man: Thank you. Enjoy your meal.

Ann: Thank you.

1. Подведение итогов урока. Рефлексивно – оценочный этап.
