Форма проведения: урок-викторина
Цель: формирование коммуникативных навыков у учащихся, также систематизация изученных лексических и грамматических структур.
Задачи:
Образовательная: совершенствование речевых навыков, развитие умения воспринимать и понимать иноязычную речь на слух.
Развивающая: создaние условий для развития коммуникативных навыков через разнообразные виды речевой деятельности; формирование самостоятельной познавательной деятельности; развитие умений осуществлять рефлективную деятельность.
Воспитательная: способствование формированию научного мировоззрения, развитие способности к сотрудничеству и работе в коллективе; обеспечение условий развития интереса к изучению английского языка.
Ход урока
Greeting
Учитель:
Good morning, dear children! I am glad to see you at our lesson.
-What’s the date today?
-What is the day of the week today?
-What is the season of the year now?
-You’re right…it is winter! What winter holidays do you know?
Look at the screen and around the class! What do you think we are going to speak about?
Now let’s divide into 2 groups. I have got a Christmas stocking with elves and reindeers. Students who take card with elf sit at the table right from me and students who take card with reindeer sit at the table left from me.
We also should choose the leader of your teams!
Warming up
Look at the screen. Here you can see some Christmas tongue twisters.
Let’s warm up our mouths and tongues.
Seven Santas sang silly songs.
Eleven elves licked eleven little licorice lollipops.
Kris Kringle chose to climb the chimney at Christmas.
Okey, well done. Now tell do you know about Christmas?

Учитель: You know a lot about Christmas, and now let’s have a little competition.
Учитель: And we start our Christmas game. Look and the scree you see some squares. Behind each square there is task. Teams open the task one by one and do them. The team, which, opened the task, answers first. For each correct answer we get colored balls. At the end of the lesson we’ll count your results.

Let’s take your balls and decorate own Christmas tree.
If everything was interesting and clear for you – put green balls on the Christmas tree, if you have some problems after the lesson – put yellow balls , and if the lesson was boring and you didn’t understand anything – put red balls.
