To read the Text “Going on Safari”

Last summer, my dad, and I went on an incredible safari in Africa. I was so excited! Early one morning, we arrived at the safari house, where our adventure began. The house was surrounded by tall trees and we could hear the sounds of nature all around us. After a quick breakfast, we hopped into a big jeep with our guide, who was very friendly and told us many stories about the animals we might see.

As we drove through the African savannah, the sun was shining bright, and the air was warm. Suddenly, we spotted a herd of elephants! They were enormous with their big ears flapping. I couldn’t believe how close we were! We took lots of pictures and watched them splash water on themselves to stay cool.

Later, we found a group of lions lying in the grass. It was amazing to see them up close, but the guide reminded us to stay quiet and calm so we wouldn’t disturb them. I learned so much about the different animals and their habitats during the trip.

By the end of the day, I felt tired but happy. Going on safari with my dad was one of the best experiences of my life. I can’t wait to tell my friends all about it!

Hi Mum! It’s me, Mila! I have the most exciting news to share with you! I just got home from school, and you won’t believe what happened today. I entered the city photography competition, and guess what? I won first prize! Can you believe it? The judges were really impressed with my photo, and they decided to award me the top spot. I took a picture of our beautiful park during sunset, and I think it really captured the moment. When they called my name at the ceremony, I felt so proud and excited! My friends cheered for me, and I couldn’t wait to call you and share this moment. The best part is that I’ll be getting a special medal and a gift card for photography supplies as part of the prize. I know I worked hard on this project, but I couldn’t have done it without your encouragement and support. Thank you for always believing in me! I can’t wait to celebrate with you later. Going on Safari”
