A. Cats are great animals. Many people love them. They are easy to look after. Cats always know what they want. They are also very helpful. For example, on farms cats catch mice and rats. Cats are very friendly and bring happiness. They are very playful and clever too! It’s fun to have a cat in the house.

B. Dogs are good pets if you have a big family. They are wonderful companions but they are very difficult to keep. People who have dogs get up early because every morning they walk their pets. They feed their pets two times a day. Dogs want to play and be with you all the time. You feel unhappy when you leave them at home and go to work or to school. You can’t easily go on holiday if you have a dog, because you can’t leave it alone.

C. In my childhood I asked my parents to buy me a pet. But they didn’t do it. They said boys can’t look after pets well. Now many people say I have a zoo at home. When I was at university, I bought a dog and a parrot. When I started working and had money and more free time, I bought a guinea pig, a rabbit and a budgie. Then for my birthday my friend gave me a kitten. Now I’m very happy. I love my pets and try to take care of them well.
