внеклассного мероприятия на английском языке:

«Do good things and the world will be better».

Pupil 1: Hello, Ladies and Gentleman.

Pupil 2: We are glad to see you in our concert hall at our English concert.

Pupil 1: You’ll hear children’s rhymes and songs.

Pupil 2: We hope you’ll enjoy our songs, poems and dancing.

Pupil 1:The theme of our concert is «Do good things and the world will be better».

Pupil 2: Now let’s start.

Pupil 1: Now listen to a rhyme “How wonderful is our world,” recited by the pupils of the 3rd form: …

How wonderful is our world,
How nice to have the peace in whole
How wonderful is Father’s home,
How nice to be with Him alone.

It makes no difference to me
What is the weather like may be
Either it’s thunderstorm or rain
Or dripping off the roof or hail.

Like child with love I am abound,
You can’t but love the world around,
It’s weaved of beauty all way through,
Of heaven’s pureness anew.

I’d like to open heart to world
To look at it from out of soul
Absorbing whole scope inside
To burn the fire of love and light.

Pupil 2: And now please watch a short tale «Mag and Love» performed by the pupils of the 3rd, 4th and 11th forms.

Pupil Narrator: Once upon time a girl by name Love lived on the earth. It was bored for her to live without a friend. Then she asked for an old grey magician who was living already 100 years.

Love: Help me to choose a friend. I want to be her friend all my life.

Narrator: The magician thought and said:

Mag: Come to my place tomorrow morning when the first birds began singing and the dew hasn’ t got dry yet.

The dance of the girls.

Narrator: In the morning when the bright sun rose the ground Love came to the magician. She came and saw five very beautiful girls were standing.

The dance of the Love.

Mag: Will you choose? Their names are Joy, Luck, Beauty, Sorrow and Kindness.

Love: They are all beautiful. I don’t know whom to choose.

Mag: You are right. They all are nice. You will meet them in your life.

May be you will make a friend with all of them, but choose only one of them. She will be your friend for all your life.

Narrator: Love, Whom would you choose?

Mag: Why did Love choose Kindness?

Narrator: A person makes different acts in the life. Sometimes a person acts correctly and show the wonderful features of their nature, but in some situations it is not so.

Песня на мотив песни «Дорогою добра»

The Sun is shining brightly,

The Rose is smiling smartly,

The singing birds are flying over

Growing greeny trees.

And they are friends forever,

They spend all time together,

They help each other every day

And never put in trouble.

Но если с другом худо, не уповай на чудом.

Спеши к нему, всегда иди дорогою добра.

Pupil 1: Now listen to a very beautiful song “Once upon a December”, performed by the pupil of the 11th form …

Pupil 2: and a very interesting dance performed by …

Вальс «Анастасия»

Dancing bears,
Painted wings
Things I almost remember
And a song someone sings
Once upon a December

Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory...

Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember,
Things my heart used to know,
Once upon a December

Someone holds me safe and warm
Horses prance through a silver storm
Figures dancing gracefully
Across my memory...

Far away, long ago
Glowing dim as an ember,
Things my heart used to know,
Things it yearns to remember...

And a song someone sings
Once upon a December

Pupil 1: The rhyme “Friends” recited by …

Friends

A friend is like a flower,

A rose to be exact,

Or may be like a brand new gate

That never comes unlatched.

A friend is like an owl,

Both beautiful and wise.

Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost,

Whose spirit never dies.

A friend is like a heart that goes

Strong until the end.

Where would we be in this world

If we didn’t have a friend?

Pupil 2: Now the song and the dance «1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8»  performed by

Pupil 1: and the group of the girls of the 8th form.

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8
I believe it’s not too late
Together we can change the world
Lay the puzzle pieces out
Find out what it’s all about
Together we can change the world

Refrain:
Can’t do it by myself
So I’m asking for your help
Together we can change the world
Sail past where it’s been charted
Roll your sleeves up, let’s get started
Together we can change the world
Together we can change the world

With our hands and with our hearts
We can dare to make a start
Together we can change the world
What if we spoke with one voice,
Knowing that we have a choice?
Together we can change the world

Refrain:
[instrumental]

Change your mind and change your life
Set aside the fear and strife
Together we can change the world
When we open up our eyes
Then we start to realize
Together we can change the world

Pupil 1: The poem Do good things recited by …

You have strong arms

So protect a weak person

You are an intelligent person

So teach a stupid one

Your eyes... Your soul is kind and pure

So give it to someone who's lonely

Do good things across the earth

Do good things for the benefit of people

Not for thanks from people around you

I'll touch the sky

I will have had enough of shouting soon

I'll tell the secrets of the day till the morning comes

Do good things across the earth

Do good things for the benefit of people

Not for thanks from people around you

Pupil 1: Our concert is over. We hope you’ve liked it.
