Открытое мероприятие (игра) «А magic journey to the Planet of Knowledge»

Цель: Активизация употребления лексики по изученным темам, повышение мотивации к изучению английского языка, обучение работе в команде. 
Задачи: 
-повторить и систематизировать ранее изученный материал;
-развивать все виды речевой деятельности;
-формировать лексические и речевые навыки путём повторения материала в разнообразных видах деятельности; 
-развивать положительные личностные качества (ответственность, доброжелательность, чувство взаимопомощи); 
-воспитывать уважение к культуре своей страны и стран изучаемого языка. 

Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, презентация, компьютер, раздаточный материал (карточки), дипломы, призы.

Приветствие: Good afternoon, children and our guests! I’m very glad to see you here. Today we’ll have «А magic journey to the Planet of Knowledge». Сегодня мы совершим увлекательное путешествие на планету знаний. You should do the tasks and then you’ll learn a lot of interesting facts about different things. Ваше путешествие будет долгим, поэтому вы будете делать остановки на разных планетах, выполнять различные задания, и как награду – получать информацию из разных сфер нашей жизни (слайд 1).

Ход мероприятия:

Now teams will take part in our game. They are the students of 5forms. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1st team? 
P1: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is __________________
-Who is the captain of the 2nd team? 
P2: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is __________________

(слайд №2)Well, now I offer to begin our travelling. Now I’m going to teach you how to play this game. We shall visit 9 рlanets and you should do the tasks. The game has 8 contests, they are:

The first planet is the ABC planet – планета Английского алфавита. Знакомьтесь с жителями этой планеты (слaйд. 7)

Hello. Welcome to the ABC planet. And now we come to the 1st contest of the game called “The ABC game”. Kids, you must guess a scrambled word. Разгадай слово. Каждая цифра соответствует порядковому номеру буквы в алфавите, например А-1, В-2 и т.д.

Who will be the first will be winner in this contest. The winner gets 10 роints . Команда победившая в конкурсе получает 10 баллов.

Great job! Now listen and remember interesting facts about English alphabet:

More English words begin with the letter "s" than with any other letter. Больше всего английских слов начинается с буквы “S”, чем с других букв.
Only two English words end in "-gry". They are "angry" and "hungry". Всего лишь два английских слова заканчиваются на “-gry”: angry and hungry. (слaйд12)
The following sentence contains all 26 letters of the alphabet: "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog." В английском алфавите 26 букв и в этом предложении использованы все 26 букв английского алфавита. Let’s read this sentence all together. (слaйд13)

The flag of the UK is white, red and blue. 
The symbols of the UK are a lion, an oak and a red rose.

UK is famous for 5 o’clock tea, a red bus, porridge and internet. (слaйды20-21)

Welcome to the «Planet number five». And now we come to the contest which is called “A magic 5”. You should name five different things.(слaйд. 22)

Look at the picture, each team will take turns in answering questions. You’ll choose any number. “ …”, it’s your turn to start. Над каждым цветком написаны задания – вы выбираете номер и начинаете отвечать. (слaйд. 23-27)

Every word costs 1 point. Каждое слово стоит 1 балл. 

Interesting facts: Most Japanese schools don’t have janitors. Children do the cleaning daily as part of a school practice. The kids come in and bow before and after a lesson thanking the teacher. В большинстве японских школ нет уборщиц, ученики сами убирают классы, это их каждодневная обязанность. Перед уроком и после него дети кланяются учителю, таким образом, благодарят его за урок.(слaйд. 28-29)
