The 5^th  grade. Theme: Would you like some juice?  

Objectives:

1) educational

- to continue studying  the topic “ Food, clothes and shopping”

- to teach the phrases  - Would you like some…. I`d like some(a)…. How about some…?

- to teach the words: sweet, delicious, good, sour, terrible, awful.

-to revise the words:  food, healthy, tomato, egg, water, potato, cheese, bread, banana, milk, lemon, cabbage, carrot, meat, sugar, apple, lemonade, Pepsi, cake, salad, Coca-Cola, tea, sandwiches, pizza, chocolate, hamburgers, juice

- review the grammar: plural form of nouns, Present Simple

2) developing

-to  develop the speaking abilities of children

- to help the developing of the psychological processes( memory, mind, imagination, attention)

3) up bringing

 - upbringing of the child`s personality, careful attitude to the food and drinks they eat.

- forming of the positive motivation toward the studying of English

- forming of the intellectual working skills

Equipment: textbooks, computer with multimedia projector and PC-s, DVD interactive video “Hooked on phonics”, first grade level 2, lesson 1,    vocabulary pictures (food and drink),  crosswords (about food), slide presentation – food and drinks
