New Year

What is the most wonderful holiday? Of course, it’s New Year!

My name is Mark. I and my family like this funny time. At New Year shops are full of people. They look for the best presents for family and friends. We also go shopping, buying good things.

We usually start to decorate our house on 20^th December.

The weather on New Year Eve isn’t too cold. But sometimes it can be snowy and at this time everybody is happy and can play snowballs.

My mum makes special dish. We try to help her and that’s why I and my sister clean the house. Father at this time usually watches old films on TV.

I like New Year because our family gathers together in the living-room and we get presents. At 12 o’clock we say “Happy New Year!”, than we go to the street to watch fireworks. It’s my best holiday.
