Lilia Gharaghashyan- about 17-year EFL teacher who began teaching at a primary school in RA. Currently I'm teaching kids and teens at a training center in China. I'm a calm, determined, focused and dedicated person who loves communicating with different people and also passionate to teach anyone with a sense of enthusiasm, determination and love towards English. I believe that student success is created through meaningful relationships. I finished my Masters Degree of Foreign Languages (English and German) in May,2003. Since then I have been an EFL teacher at a primary school. During my teaching I have partaken in ample of CPD workshops, projects, courses organized by the British Council and the Embassy of America. I have collaboration with the US Peace Corps and had three volunteers who worked with me as counterparts and helped me much in my teaching practice. I also became an administrator and a teacher trainer of an online teacher training course conducted by the National Institute of Education in RA from 2016. I got my 1st degree of teacher qualification in 2017. After, in 2019 I could get the approval from the Ministry of Education of RA to publish my book " Alphabet in colours". For 3 years I have been engaged in WIESCO English summer camp as a volunteer teacher who helped US teachers and helpers while conducting the camp program.

Teaching experience

I worked at a primary school in RA from September, 2003 to March 2019. I was assigned to teach students of different levels and ages. I also did private lessons (tutoring). During my teaching we met all the curriculum needs and more. I planned lessons, worked out productive methods for teaching. For a couple of years I have been chosen the Head of methodological association of foreign languages (Russian and English) at school where I worked. As an online teacher trainer, I worked with the NIE ( National Institute of Education) of RA and some other trainers. We implemented wide range of productive, up-to-date courses which met teachers' needs providing necessary materials. From March 2019 I became an EFL teacher at Global IELTS International training center. We focus on improving students' speaking skills, grammar, if needed, we develop four skills. I do one on one and group classes. I do my best to encourage my students to learn and enjoy learning English.
