Essential Question: What peculiarities does the festival of your nationality have?

• It is challenging: Students want to know about peculiarities of the festival of different nationalities because they live in the multinational country.
• It is open-ended: If we`re going to start the project on this question, we will have particular number of differences according to the time in what we live. But, when we start the research some years later, we will have absolutely another end product.

According to the level of complexity, this question requires students to find and synthesize different types of information.

According to the level of coherence, this question provides the project activities which involve students in the research and helps students to understand and respect their classmates` culture.

According to the level of authenticity, it is connected with real life: What peculiarities should we know about festivals of different nationalities? What should we exactly do if we take part in the definite festival?
