I am a passionate believer in the fact that the first step is to aquire short way of vowels reading and only then, the second will be the magic vowel ''e'' which breaks all the laws but one of reading that makes vowels short or long. I feel strongly that children prefer ''playing with reading'' to dull hard working. I know for certain that it works and at the same time guys of the second language aquisition appreciate this way of ''hard work'' which is in reality is the simpliest way of reading.
