The most amazing bridge crossings are assigned by special names. So, we have decided to find out all Millennium Bridges in the world. There is a whole group of them. All of them were built for the memorable date-the beginning of the third millennium.

Actuality: As Jim West once rightly put it, "Bridges are metaphors for everything in life. The bridge is not just about getting back and forth between north and south. The bridge is about connecting our communities." So, especially interesting for us are Millennium Bridges, because we have one in our city.

To sum up, in the world there are only six Millennium Bridges. They have the same name and they were built at the beginning of the 21^st century but they are not similar to each other.

The Millennium Bridges in England are the most beautiful of all. Besides, they are the most famous, because, for example, The Millennium Bridge is featured in the film adaption of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

The Millennium Bridge in Podgorica, Slovenia is the most attractive and unusual. It is the city's most prominent landmark.

The smallest bridge is the Millennium Bridge in Kiev, Ukraine. It is only 32 metres long. It was built for as a pedestrian river crossing.

But the longest of them is the Millennium Bridge in Kazan, Russia, because it is 835 metres long.
