"Omar’s album"

Theme: Omar’s album.                          

Aims:

1. talking about the danger of animals.

2. guessing the meanings of words.

3. to get new information  about ocean life.

Vis. aids: an interactive board, a book, the pictures of ocean animals.

1. Org. mom. …greeting, talking about weather, date and days of the week.
2. Warm up. Flp.  

                It’s white and yellow in the middle.         It looks like the sun.

                It doesn’t smell. It’s beautiful.             What flower is this? (daisy)

1. Checking up the home task.  Ex 8. p.49. “My interview”

f.e. Erganat: I interviewed Asem. She plants flowers in spring and in summer. She usually plants flowers at home and in the garden. Her favourite flower is rose because it’s beautiful. It smells good. She likes the scent.

IV. Presentation.

1. Introduction with the lexical words. Practice the pronunciation of the new words.

1) a whale   -  whale is the  biggest animal in the sea.

2) a golden eagle – a hunting bird.

3) a kangaroo rat – has a bag like a kangaroo.

4) a honey bee – an insect, gives honey.

 5) a bat – flies at night doesn’t see in the dark.
