In the first picture I see a small girl, maybe 3 years old, celebrating her birthday at home. The second picture shows a lot of children with their parents having birthday party at a café.

The main similarity is that in both pictures there are small children. The children are celebrating birthday in both pictures. Another similarity is that we see a birthday cake in the first photo and there is a cake in the second picture too.

The main difference is that in the left picture I see one girl while the right picture shows a lot of kids. The girl in picture one is alone in the room but kids at the café are together with their parents.

I prefer to celebrate my birthday at home because I usually do it with my parents who are my closest people.
