Millions of people all around the world adore travelling. We travel because we wish to see new countries and cities, visit historical places, meet new people and taste different cuisines. Travelling is one of the most incredible things in life. It gives many amazing impressions. Nowadays we have an excellent opportunity to travel abroad because most countries are open for us. The culture, story, life arrangement of another country help us to understand our own one. All of the things we can know just only when we compare and contrast them with others.

Actuality: Lots of people are afraid of travelling, because of money problems. They don’t know how much money do they need just to spend a day in a big city. Therefore, we decided to study what a traveler can do if he has only 100 dollars for a day. Then compare the cost of life in different cities, such as London, New York, Kazan and Hong Kong.

Objective: studying the prices of food, bus tickets, and entrance tickets to museums in the following cities: Kazan, London, New York, Hong Kong.

Subject of research: cities Kazan, London, New York, Hong Kong.

Research tasks: To find out information about the biggest cities, to know more about the way of lives in these cities, to study the cost of food, bus tickets, entertainment tickets in four different capitals.

To sum up, we came to the conclusion that

- the most expensive food is in London

- the most expensive passage is in New York

- the most expensive attractions are in Hong Kong

- the most expensive souvenirs are in Kazan

- the most expensive city is New York
