Тема: Англоговорящие страны

Цели:

Образовательная: познакомить обучающихся с англоговорящими странами и с их столицами, научить рассказывать о стране, составлять проект на заданную тему.

Развивающая: развитие навыков устной монологической и диалогической речи,

смыслового чтения и работы с текстом.

Воспитательная: повышать мотивацию к изучению предмета, воспитание познавательной активности учащихся, интереса к странам изучаемого языка.

Оборудование: компьютер, глобус, презентации, доска, раздаточный материал, карта

1 Орг. момент

Hello everybody. What is the date today? What is the day of the week?

2 Формулируем тему, ставим цели и задачи

Учитель: Your task will be to make a project. And what should we do to make a project?

Учащиеся: To find the information. To make the presentation.

You are quite right. I will help you to find the information an you will make the presentation yourselves.

And now guess the theme of our project.

-Активация навыков чтения, перевода и диалогической речи с опорой на образец.

Read and translate the dialogue ex. 2, p 43, roleplay the small dialogues using the example and the information from the blackboard

So, I see you are ready to meet our guests. They come to help you with your projects.

• Акт-я навыков аудирования и устной диалогической речи

«Заходит первый гость» (презентация о стране), звучит гимн Новой Зеландии, учащиеся здороваются с ним и задают вопросы, опираясь на диалог уп. 2, с 43.

«Гость» отвечает на вопросы и показывает презентацию, рассказывает о своей стране.

Примерные вопросы (Where are you from? Where is New Zealand? What is the capital of New Zealand? What is your nationality?) и т.д. про все страны

-Физ. Минутка (Игра с глобусом»)

- Работа с текстом, развитие навыков смыслового чтения и работы с текстом.

Учащиеся работают в группах. Учитель раздает тексты и анкеты, у каждой группы текст про одну из англоговорящих стран, учащиеся читают текст, заполняют анкету и зачитывают ее.

New Zealand

New Zealand is an island (остров) country in the Pacific Ocean. The country is on two main islands — the North Island and the South Island — and several smaller islands. Wellington is the capital of New Zealand .English is the official language of New Zealand. Вut many people speak their own language - Maori. Only 5% of New Zealand’s population is human (люди)- the rest are animals. 

Australia

Australia is the only country in the world that is also a continent. It is the sixth large country and the smallest continent. Australia is between the South Pacific Ocean and the Indian Ocean. Australia has six states( штаты) each state has its government(правительство). The capital of the country is Canberra.

Australia is a monarchy(монархия) like Great Britain. Queen Elizabeth II, is the queen of Australia. But she has little power (власть) She is a symbol of long historical tie ( историческая связь) between Great Britain and Australia

The USA

The United States of America is the fourth largest country . It is in the southern part of North America and has a territory from the Pacific to the Atlantic Ocean. It also includes(включает в себя) Alaska in the north and Hawaii in the Pacific Ocean. The USA has 50 states,each state has its own government. The capital city is Washington. The population of the country is about 250 million. The largest cities are New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, San Francisco, and others.

George Washington was the first president of the USA.

The Uk

The full name of the country- the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. The United Kingdom is on the British Isles(острова). The British Isles consist of (состоят из) two large islands(острова) :Great Britain and Ireland, and small islands. The island of Great Britain has three main parts: England, Wales and Scotland.

The main nationalities are: English, Welsh, Scottish and Irish. The capital of the country is London. The United Kingdom is a monarchy ( монархия) The national flag of the UK is called the Union Jack. Union Jack is a mixture of flags. It combines (включает в себя) three flags: the flag of England, Scotland and Ireland.
