The aims of the lesson:
Educational: to enrich pupils’ knowledge on the theme, to widen their vocabulary through games.
Developmental: to develop pupils` skills in oral speech, to develop their reading, speaking, writing, listening abilities through giving several tasks.
Cultural: to bring up pupils to respect and love and interest to the subject.
Type: combined and with elements of game technology.
Methods: explanation, games, group work.

1. Read and listen. How many different dinosaurs can you see?
2. Work on the vocabulary.
Nouns: Meat eater – жыртқыш/етқорек , million – миллион, plant eater – шөпқоректі .
Adjectives: different – әр-түрлі/басқаша/әр-алуан , slow – баяу/ бәсең/ жәй .
Adverb: ago – алдын
It wasn’t … They weren’t … - ол/ олар болмаған Harry up! – тез бол!

Ex. 2 a. Escape from the dinosaurs! Read the sentences. Colour the lines blue for the true sentences and red the false sentences.
