Цели:

Учебный аспект: развитие умений монологической и диалогической речи, умений чтения и аудирования по теме “Famous people”, активизирование по темам «Числительные», «Суффиксальный способ словоообразования»

Воспитательный аспект: воспитание уважительного отношения к культуре стран изучаемого языка, к своей культуре.

Познавательный аспект: расширение кругозора и повышение общей культуры учащихся в рамках данной темы.

Развивающий аспект: развитие языковой догадки, логического мышления, познавательных способностей учащихся.

Задачи: активизировать лексический материал по темам «Черты характера»,  «Профессии», учить учащихся читать с извлечением конкретной информации, рассказывать биографии с опорой на план.

Оборудование и оснащение: компьютер, проектор, презентации, видеофрагменты из видеофильмов “Madame Tussaud’s”, “Beatles”, раздаточный материал.

ХОД УРОКА

1.Первый этап (определение темы урока, постановка цели и задач)

Teacher: Hello. Sit down, please. I’m glad to see you!

2.Определение темы урока

Teacher: Today we have an unusual lesson. It takes place in our school museum. Have you already visited it?

At the beginning of our lesson we’ll visit one of the famous museum in the world. What is the name of this museum? Do you know what this museum is famous for?

Student: Yes, I do. The famous Waxworks Museum has the models of famous people from pop stars to prime ministers, and the other famous people.



Teacher: Yes, Madam Tussaud's is the most popular and famous wax museum in the world. There are wax models of the famous and infamous, both living and dead, from every walk of life. Can you predict the topic of our today’s lesson?

3. Развитие навыков чтения.

  1. поисковое чтение:

T: You know John Lennon was a famous British musician from Liverpool. In this text (Слайд № 8) you’ll find some new information about him and his group “The Beatles”. They were 4 in a group. While reading you fill in the gaps. You will work until you hear the song “Yesterday” of this group. So you have only 3 minutes. Let’s begin! (ученики получают карточки с заданиями к тексту; молча читают текст с пропущенными словами; самостоятельно вставляют их вместо пропусков; звучит фоновая музыка).

You visit our school historical museum, you canl see the portraits of famous people from our district, our Republic. All people of our district are proud of them.. Among them there are military men, candidates of pedagogical and technical sciences, directors and just workers and so on.

To cut a long story short, in every family there are interesting, clever persons. They are famous among their relatives, friends. For example, I am proud of my relatives. My grandfather fought during the Great Patriotic War. And what about you?

I want to tell you about the greatest English writer and the world's greatest dramatist.

William Shakespeare was born in April 1564 in Stratford-upon-Avon. He educated at the local grammar school, where he studied Latin authors and dramatists.

Then he went to London. He lived and worked in this city for many years.

He wrote 154 sonnets. His famous works are "Hamlet", "Romeo and Juliet", “Macbeth”. William Shakespeare greatly influenced theatre, literature and the English language. He continues to be one of the most important literary figures of the English language.
