План урока

1. Организационный момент.

2. Постановка темы урока, сообщение цели.

3. Актуализация ранее изученного лексического  материала

4. Работа с учебником.

5.  Актуализация новых лексических единиц

6. Тренировка навыков говорения

7. Подведение итогов, задание на дом. Рефлексия.

Цель: коммуникативно - речевое развитие учащихся через сообщение  знаний об истории  молодёжной  моды.

Задачи: обучающие (ориентированные на достижение предметных результатов обучения):

– освоить во всех видах речевой деятельности новые лексические единицы по теме «Одежда и мода»;

- развивать навыки говорения по теме;

- способствовать расширению словарного запаса;

–развивать умения, составляющие лингвистическую компетенцию:

-сопоставление языковых явлений в изучаемом и родном языках;

развивающие (ориентированные на достижение метапредметных результатов обучения):

– развивать коммуникативные универсальные учебные действия (УУД) через все виды речевой деятельности;

– развивать регулятивные УУД, в том числе умения целеполагания, планирования, самонаблюдения, самоконтроля и самооценки;

– развивать навыки работы с информацией, в том числе с использованием ИКТ;

– развивать умение работать в парах и группе;

- способствовать развитию умения выражать мысли, формировать вкус;

Социокультурная компетенция:  познакомить  с некоторыми фактами из истории молодежной моды XX века;

Компенсаторная компетенция: развивать языковые догадки и воображения, творческое  мышление, память

Учебно-познавательная компетенция: развивать навыки работы с текстом, умение выделять основную информацию из прочитанного об основных   модных традициях.

Ход урока

1.Приветствие. (Greeting).

Teacher: Good morning, girls and boys. I am glad to see you. How are you? I hope you’re OK and we can start our lesson.  Who is on duty, what date is it today? Who are absent today?

2. Целеполагание.

T: Look at the screen, please. What can you see? What’s special about this picture? (Слайд 1) P: I can see two pictures with teenagers. They look different. T: Why? P: They wear different clothes. Picture А shows old-fashioned teenagers. T: Can you guess the theme of the lesson? P: I think we will discuss fashion. T: Right you are, we will discuss fashion and clothes. What clothes do you know? P: Shirt, dress, skirt etc. T: What will you learn today? P: New words about fashion and clothes styles. T: Where do you need this knowledge? P: Somewhere at the shopping sentre in our country or abroad.

First of all I’d like you to answer some questions:

• Are you fond of fashion?

• What clothes do you prefer?

• Who usually chooses clothes for you?

• Is it important to wear proper clothes?

• Do you like people’s clothes in the streets?

• What do you wear to school?

• What do you wear to the party?

T: Now I know what clothes you prefer. But do they fit you? Let’s learn some new verbs related to clothes. Read the definitions and try to translate them:

3.Повторение лексики по теме “Clothes”

  Teacher: Before reading and speaking about different fashion tendencies in different periods of history in Britain, let’s remember the words on the topic “Clothes”. Look at the board. Try to remember the names of the things you see.

4.Работа с текстом ( Listening and reading)

  Teacher: In Britain people followed different fashion tendencies in different periods of history. During the 1950s a new market grouping called teenagers was created and fashion was becoming more and more focused on youth. Please, open your books at page 152. Look at the photos which show youth fashion from the middle of the 1950s up to the present moment. Which picture illustrates which period?  Before answering, pay attention to the pronunciation and translation of some words. There are some words about the meaning of which you should guess yourselves

Students:

In 1950s women wore…

…were fashionable

In 1960s they put on…

… were popular

            In early 1970 ….came into fashion

               In 1970s …became trendy

…      .were introduced in1975

   … style appeared in 1970

             In 1990s  youth people followed….

            Nowadays ….are the main  fashionable tendencies in Britain

           5. Активизация ЛЕ.

1) Teacher: And now let’s see if you  remember any words.   Read the text and copy the word web and fill it in. (answer) 

2) Teacher:  Look at the shop window and say what clothes are placed there? What colour are they? (answers)

3) Teacher) I wonder if you are careful? Are your clothes neat and in order? Look at the picture. This man is so untidy! He always loses his clothes/ What things are lost? (answers)

Let’s learn some new verbs related to clothes. Read the definitions and try to translate them:

To fit – to be the right shape or size for sth/sb

To suit – to make you look attractive

To match, to go with – to combine well

To try on – to put a piece of clothing to see if it fits and how it looks

To wear - to have sth on your body as a piece of clothing

6. Решение проблемной ситуации

Teacher:   Students! Today in the morning I had a problem. I couldn’t choose my look. Women often have this trouble. Let’s discuss this problem

7,Тренировка навыков говорения

Teacher:a) Girls and boys!  Are you up to date with the fashion? What is in and out of the fashion at the momentis (answers)

Teacher:b) Which pieces of clothing would you (not) like to have? (answer)

Teacher: c) What do you think is it important to be trendy? (answer)

Teacher: Thank you for your answers. We’ll discuss this problem next time.

Your home task is ex.3p. 154/you must learn new words p 153.
