Тема: Ты любишь читать книги? Do you like reading books?
Задача урока: способствовать развитию коммуникативной компетенции по теме урока;
Цели урока:
Обучающие: повторить лексику по теме, освоить новые лексические единицы,научиться понимать на слух, говорить о жанрах книu и о писателях;
Развивающие: развивать навыки говорения, аудирования, чтения, расширять кругозор, логическое мышление и языковую догадку;
Воспитательные: прививать познавательный интерес и любовь к чтению, к английской литературе и писателям;
Оборудование: словарь, тетрадь, проектор, компьютер, демонстрационный экран, учебник 7 класса «Spotlight» Ю.Э.Ваулина, Дж.Дули, О.Е.Подоляко, В.Эванс ;

Ход урока
І. Организационный момент.
1. Приветствие.
Good morning, children! I am glad to see you again today. How are you?
2. Введение в англоговорящую атмосферу.
What day is it today?
What is the weather like today?
Is it cold or warm today?
Is the wind blowing today?
Is the sun shining today?
Children, what do you like doing in your free time?
Do you have any hobbies? Is reading a hobby?

III. Основная часть урока. Сообщение темы и целей урока. Main part. Aim of the lesson.
T: Children, look at the screen and guess the riddle (slide 1):
I can be thin or thick.
I have a lot of pieces of paper.
I usually have pictures, too.
You can read me.
T: Children, what are we going to talk about today? Yes, we are going to talk about books, famous writers and their characters.
Read the poem and answer: Why do people read? (People get a lot of information from books) (slide 2)

1.T: Look at the screen again and read the word “BOOKWORMS” (slide 3). This word has two meanings: 1) insects that eat books;
2) people who like reading very much;
T: Are you a bookworm?
Do you like reading?
Do you read every day?
What kinds of books do you prefer? What other literary genres do you know?
Now look at the screen and repeat after me: fairy tale, legend , mystery, myth, novel , science fiction, suspense story (slide 4)
