1. Приветствие. Hello! Glad to see you. Who is absent today?

2. Cоздание благоприятной атмосферы. It is a lovely day today. I hope you haven’t killed a spider in the morning. Haven’t you broken the mirror? And you? Haven’t you gone under a ladder? Then keep the fingers crossed and we ‘ll begin our work.

1. Речевая зарядка.

At the last lessons we spoke about means of communication. What means of communication do you know? Which of them is the most important for you? Why?

1. There is one more subject which is as important for you as a computer, isn’t it? What is it? Right, it’s a telephone and our theme is ‘Telephoning each other’

2. Can you choose the main aims of our lesson?

1. to learn how to speak over the telephone

2. to learn how to repair the telephone

3. to choose the coolest phone in the world

4. to discuss advantages and disadvantages of talking on the phone

1. Do you know how to say telephone numbers? Объяснение учителя.

2. Try to read some numbers! Чтение по цепочке.

3. Ask your partners what his/her telephone number is and write it down.

1. Подготовка к мини-проектам. Would you like to take part in some mini-projects?

1. Do you know these numbers? When do we call them? I want you to make a ‘Remember Sheet’ when we use these numbers.

2. Do you know the phrases which you can use in the phone conversation? I want you to read the dialogue on page 24 and write down some phrases.

3. And what else do we have to do? The jumbled up telephone conversation. (p.25 ex.80) I want you to put it in the correct order.

4. Make your own telephone book.

1. Мини-проекты. Let's divide into groups, choose a task and do it. You have 7 -10 minutes.

2. It’s time to talk on the phone. Will you? The situations are:

1. You see a fire. Call the firefighters.

2. You want to go to the cinema. Call your friend.

1. Краткие высказывания о преимуществах и недостатках .

And the last task. You have to choose word combinations pro and contra using a telephone. Вызываются 2 человека, которые вывешивают на доску фразы, один –за, другой –против. Проверка по слайду.

1. So, how do you feel? Do you like or dislike the lesson? Why?

2. I think we can communicate with each other by the telephone, by the computer and the Internet because the world we live on is very small. Live in peace and friendship and call each other! Песня “It’s a small world after all”
