1st August Dear Donna, I love being on holiday here in Italy! I’m very found of swimming and sunbathing, and the beaches here are perfect. I’m also keen on surfing, which they do here. I’d like to try windsurfing too, but I’m a bit frightened of it. And as you know, I’m interested in monuments and Italy is famous for its history. I don’t think I could ever get bored with this place. I’d like to stay here forever. Love, Clara

He walked along the coast and also went into the jungle. Next he went across the island to the other side. While he was on the island he did lots of things. He built a house, collected fruit and hunted wild goats. He also made a canoe, but he couldn’t get it into the water. In the end a ship stopped at the island and took him back to Britain.
