Thanksgiving Turkey

Ingredients:
• Turkey — 1 Piece (8 kg)
• Butter — 100 Grams
• Onion — 2 Pieces
• Carrot — 2 Pieces
• Celery ( Сельдерей ) — 4 Pieces (stems)
• Oranges — 2 Pieces
• Thyme (Тимьян) — 3 Pieces (sprigs)
• Bay leaf (Лавровый лист) — 1 Piece
• Marinade for the Turkey —
6 l of water, 125 g of salt, 120 g sugar, 4 garlic cloves, 3 tbsp. of all spice, 1 stick cinnamon, spice blend (Italian and French herbs, a mixture of peppers), 1 orange, 2 onions
The Turkey should be marinated before you bake. Pour water into a large container, add salt, sugar, pressed garlic, peppercorns, one cinnamon stick, the slices of orange and onion. Put the Turkey in marinade. Put it in the refrigerator for 1 day.
Through the night take the Turkey out of the marinade, thoroughly wash and dry it with paper towels. Give the bird to lie down for 1 hour
Celery, onions, carrots and oranges cut into medium-sized pieces. Fill in the fruits and vegetables, add the thyme.
Cover a baking sheet with foil and put the Turkey on it. Smear the bird with melted butter
Bake it in the oven at 220 degrees. Total cooking time is calculated 1 kg of the bird = 30 minutes of roasting.
Cover the Turkey with a towel for 30-40 minutes, so the meat was more juicy
