«The queen’s birthday»

Тема: Формирование навыков аудирования на уроках английского языка.
Цель: Создать условия для формирования и дальнейшего совершенствования аудитивных навыков.
Задачи урока:
Образовательные: - развивать умения учащихся воспринимать иноязычный текст. - активизировать лексические единицы. - совершенствовать навыки чтения и аудирования. - уметь систематизировать и обобщать полученные знания. - уметь выделять главную мысль.
Развивающие: - развивать творческое воображение; - развивать речевую активность учащихся ; - развивать способность к догадке, отбору необходимой информации; - развивать интерес к стране изучаемого языка.
Воспитательные: - воспитывать ценностное отношение к культуре и истории страны изучаемого языка; - формировать потребности и способности к сотрудничеству и взаимопомощи при работе в группе.
Тип урока: - урок чтения – аудирования
Оборудование: Магнитофон, кассета с записью, раздаточный материал, компьютер, слайды.
Ход урока
I – Организационный момент.
Приветствие. Т: Good morning, boys and girls! Sit down, please.
I am very glad to see you.
How are you today? I wish you good luck today.
We begin our lesson!
Речевая разминка:
T : What day is it today? What is the date today?
What is the season now? What is the weather like today?
Do you like such weather?
What weather do you like in winter?
II – Фонетическая зарядка:
T: Let’s do some phonetic drills. Let’s pronounce some tongue twisters.
Pay attention to the pronunciation.
She sells sea shells at the sea shore, the shells she sells are the sea – shore shells, I am sure. (Она продает морские ракушки на берегу моря ракушки, которые она продает – морские ракушки, я в этом уверен)
III - Лексическая разминка T: - Fine!
T: Today we are going to listen a text about a famous person in Europe and then you will have to do some exercises. Let’s train some new words from this text and you will guess their meanings:
(official, royal, parade, balcony, soldiers, uniform, central, march;
Celebrate, queen, watch, hear, bright, high “Trooping the color”)
T: Can you guess what event we are going to speak?
T: That’s right!
