Цели воспитательного мероприятия:

   практические- изучать новый лексический и страноведческий материал, повторять изученые грамматические времена;

        образовательные – совершенствовать умения учащихся по употреблению разговорных структур;

        развивающие - развивать произвольную память, совершенствовать навыки устной речи и фонетические навыки;

        воспитательные - воспитывать чувство толерантности, уверенности в своих силах; воспитывать чувство ответственности; прививать умение работать в команде; повышать сплоченность учащихся в классном коллективе методом демонстрации положительных психо-социальных качеств личности.

Учитель: Good morning, dear guests, children and parents! We are glad to see you at our holiday “Welcome to Great Britain “

Ведущий 1: Hi!

Ведущий 2: Hellо!

Ведущий 1: And how are you?

Ведущий 2: We are glad to meet all you!

Ведущий 1: It's a holiday today!

Ведущий 2: It's a very funny day!

Учитель: Today’s our holiday is devoted to the English language and Great Britain, its traditions and customs. Students of the second form want to share with you their knowledge and open this wonderful world for our dear guests. Our children studied English hard and they’ve learnt a lot. For example, they can greet each other like native British.

Гость из Великобритании.

Мальчик:I’m from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This is my country. (показывает на презентации).London is the capital of the country. This is our flag - The Union Jack. There are three flags in it: flags of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland. This is our symbol- the red rose.В разные времена символами Англии были золотая, белая и красная розы.

Гость из Шотландии.

Девочка: I’m from Scotland. This is my country. This is our flag. This is the symbol of Scotland. Do you know what this is?(Отвечают дети:thistle).Как гласит легенда, в 1010 году Шотландию пытались захватить датчане. С этой целью они тайно высадились на берег ночью. Oни даже сняли свою обувь, чтобы производить как можно меньше шума. Они достигли крепостного рва и прыгнули в него, не зная, что ров был сухой и в нем рос чертополох. Вопли босоногих датчан, поранивших ноги чертополохом, разбудили шотландцев. Шотландия была спасена, и, согласно легенде, в память об этой ночи чертополох стал символом Шотландии. Между семействами Ланкастеров и Йорков долгое время шла так называемая война Белой и Алой Розы.

Гости из Уэльса.

Мальчик: I’m from Wales. This is my country. This is our flag. This is our symbol- Do you know what this is?(Отвечают дети: daffodil).Вообще-то, древней эмблемой Уэльса является не нарцисс, а лук -порей. Его носили на белом фоне, тем самым прославляя цвета Уэльса: зеленое на белом. Однако со временем уэльсцы решили, что символ весны - нарцисс намного лучше смотрится в петлице во время праздничных шествий, и сделали нарцисс символом своей страны.

Гость из Северной Ирландии.

Девочка: I’m from Northern Ireland. This is my country. This is our flag. This is our symbol.- Do you know what this is?(Отвечают дети: shamrock).В ирландских легендах говорится: когда креститель Ирландии Святой Патрик принес ирландцам христианство, он использовал три лепестка трилистника как символ Святой Троицы. Именно поэтому трилистник стал эмблемой Ирландии.

Wicked Witch:

What meeting is it? Who are you? What are you doing?

Ведущий 1: We are having holiday.

Ведущий 2: They are guests from different countries. Who are you? What do you want?

Wicked Witch: I’m Wicked Witch. I don’t like holidays or pupils. Foreign countries ? It isn’t interesting. I’ll bewitch you: abracadabra jin- jim- jell and you’ll have no holiday.

Учитель: What should we do? Be our guest! It’ll be interesting! Do you want to watch a short performance?

Wicked Witch: Why not! Yes! I’m going to sit and to watch a little(ведьма садится)

Учитель:There a lot of poems and novels of English authors. Everybody knows Mery Poppins and Winnie the pooh, Mowgliand Harry Potter. Our children read these books. Do you know English poem about three little kittens? This Nursery Rhyme first appeared in the" Only True Mother Goose Melodies" in 1843, almost 200 years ago.

Three Little Kittens

Mother Cat.: Three little Kittens

Lost their mittens,

And they began to cry.

1^st Kitten: Oh, Mother dear!

2^nd Kitten: We very much fear

3^rd Kitten(crying): That we have lost our mittens!

Mother Cat: Lost your mittens,

You naughty Kittens!

Then you will have no pie.

(the kittens go away)

Mother Cat.: The Three little kittens

Found their mittens,

And they began to cry.

(the kittens run in)

Kittens (together): Oh, Mother dear!

1^st Kitten: (showing the mittens) See here,

2^nd Kitten: (showing the mittens) See here,

3^rd Kitten: (showing the mittens) See, we have found our mittens!

MC: Oh, you’re good kittens!

Put on your mittens,

And you will have some pie.

(Gives them pies)

But I smell a rat close by.

Good-bye!

Kittens(together): We smell a rat close by.

(The Cat and Kittens leave the stage)
