Organizational psychology — a discipline that applies psychological methods to control the organization, the most widely used in such areas as management recruitment and personnel management, including motivation, training, etc.
Organizational psychology plays a key role in the establishment in collective of business atmosphere, aimed at maximizing business efficiency. After all, any enterprise, except for machines, transport, technology, etc., consists primarily of people whose interaction is impossible not to take into account the psychological aspects. Otherwise, personal conflicts, lack of motivation, dissatisfaction with the work performed and other negative aspects can lead to a serious decrease in productivity.
The task of the organizational psychologist is also usually to develop and conduct such studies that will help to understand how this program is successfully implemented.
Organizational psychologist thinks about what people want to get from their work. It is important that in addition to money, employees have internal incentives that encourage them to work effectively.
Organizational psychologists are studying which of the programs management can implement for the effective work of the staff, taking into account the existing adverse emotional States.
The main task is to overcome fatigue, irritability, lethargy of employees.
I didn't realize before that there is a separate branch of psychology that studies organization in a company. I think this is a very difficult job and studying this discipline will help me broaden my horizons.
I have not quite decided what kind of psychologist I will be, but acquaintance with Organizational psychology can help me to understand the choice, because so I carefully learn about new branches of psychology.
