Future Simple will + v1

• выражения действий, описания событий, которые непременно произойдут в будущем, и на которые мы не можем повлиять

Alex will be three years old in April.

• выражения решений, принятых в момент речи ( the spot decisions)

It’s hot in here – I’ ll open the window.

- выражения предсказаний, прогнозов будущих событий, основанного на наших предположениях. Обычно используются глаголы: hope, think, believe и выражения to be sure, to be afraid ; наречия probably, certainly, perhaps и др.

She will probably call me later. I think he will be a good doctor.

- выражения обещаний, угроз

I promise I’l l help you tidy the house.

to be going to ( am, is, are )

• описания планов и намерений на будущее

Jim is going to sing a song at the party tomorrow. Sophia is going to invite his friends to dinner.

• выражения предсказаний, прогнозов, основанных на том, что мы видим или знаем

It’s cloudy; it is going to rain tonight. Look, he’s going to fall down!

Present Continuous to be + v ing (am, is, are)

- выражения четко запланированных действий, особенно когда известно время и место действия:

We are having a meeting on Tuesday. I am going to doctor tomorrow afternoon.
