Ex.5 Read about Mike’s family and draw his family tree
Let me introduce myself. My name is Mike, my full name is Michael Henry Spencer. I am just eighteen. I’m a freshman at Taylor University. I am crazy about literature, that’s why I’m going to get a Bachelor’s degree of Arts (степень бакалавра гуманитарных наук).
As for my family, it’s not very large: I have a mother, Mrs. Jane Spencer, a father, Mr. Thomas Spencer, and a younger sister, Alice. Alice is 13 years old, she is a pupil. My mom’s hobby is reading detective stories. She is very pretty and kind. As for my dad, he is very energetic and strong. That’s why he is fond of cricket and golf.
Besides, I have grandparents: a grandmother and a grandfather. They are my mother’s parents. Their names are Mrs. Julia Brown and Mr. Benjamin Brown. They are very fond of gardening. Their garden is the most beautiful in the town.
My mother has an elder sister and a younger brother. They are my aunt and uncle. My aunt Emily is married, she has two twin-daughters: Mary and Jess. They are not married, they are students. Mary and Jess are my cousin sisters. As for my uncle, his name is Brandon. He is single, he has no children.
Also, I’ve got a friend and a girl-friend. Their names are Dave and Tina. Both of them are my peers (ровесники). Dave is my former classmate. Tina’s from Italy. We are often enjoying time together.
