Stages of the lesson
1. Organizing moment:
T: Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you again. How are you? I’m glad that you are fine.
What is the weather like today? Say if it is snowy or rainy today, if it is cloudy or sunny, if it is warm or cold. What is the temperature for today?

3. Warm up:
T: Do you like winter? What do you do in your free time in winter?
P: I ski (skate, play hockey, play snowballs, read, watch TV etc.) in winter
T: You do different things because you are different. Let’s revise the words dealing with traits of character. Say after me:

Speaking:

Listening and speaking:
a) T: Look at the pictures (page 15). How many families can you see?
Cl: We can see four families.
b) T: Listen and say which family I am talking about.

Text 1. They are a family of three. The parents have got a child, a son.
Which family is it? (monkeys or hares)
Text 2. They are a family of four. The parents have got two children, a son and a daughter. (Bears)

Listening and writing:
a) Look at your card and read the relatives and English names.
b) Listen to the text and draw Tina’s family tree. Write who is who.
c) Listen to the text again and write a few sentences as in the example in your cards.
