Teacher’s explanation :Nouns can be countable( those that can be counted) and uncountable( those that can’t be counted).Countable nouns have singular and plural forms. Uncountable nouns haven’t any plural form, they have only singular form.

We use –many- with countable nouns and – much- with uncountable nouns.
