  1. Authentic assessments is  a set of methods or techniques for assessing the academic achievement of a student that includes activities requiring the application of acquired knowledge and skills to real-world situations and that is often seen as an alternative to standardized testing.

  2. Brainstorming- hold a group discussion to produce ideas.

  3. Crafting is the activity or hobby of making decorative articles by hand.

  4. Cross-cultural understanding - relating to different cultures or comparison between them.

  5. Critical thinking is the ability to engage in reflective and independent thinking.

  6. Cognitive engagement is a major part of overall learning engagement. An effective cognitive engagement should enable learners to immerse themselves in in-depth reflective learning processes that are situated in realistic problem-solving tasks.

  7. Collaboration is the action of working with someone to produce something.

  8. Implemented - put (a decision, plan, agreement, etc.) into effect.

  9. Inquiry process is the scientific process of questioning, observing, predicting, testing and revising information.

  10. Open-ended questions are those which can’t be answered by a simple "yes" or "no," which require more thought and more than a simple one-word answer.

  11. Project-Based Learning is a method of teaching that presents with a problem or challenge to solve, requires them to gather information from various resources.

  12. PBL is a systematic teaching method that engages students in learning important knowledge and 21st century skills.

  13. PBL is learning experiences which engage students in complex, real-world projects through which they develop and apply skills and knowledge;

  14. Provocative is a causing anger or another strong reaction, especially deliberately

  15. Project-the development of confidence in using English in the real world.

  16. The essential question drives a project and describes what you want students to think about, explore, and formulate an answer to at the end of the project. The Question should be provocative, open-ended, complex, and linked to the core of what you want students to learn.

  17. The authentic task is the work that students will do complete to help them better understand and respond to the question.

  18. 21st century skills: critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity/innovation.
