Mother’s Day
Задачи:
Образовательная: совершенствование речевых навыков.
Развивающие: развитие творческих способностей учащихся.
Воспитательные: воспитание любви и уважения к близким людям.
Оборудование: классная комната украшена разноцветными воздушными шарами, цветами. На доске – крупными буквами из цветной бумаги «Happy Mother’s Day!»В классе можно устроить выставку детских рисунков, посвященных мамам. Для праздника необходимо подготовить фонограммы песен.
(Звучит радостная музыка. Выходят двое ведущих).
Ведущий 1:
Spring is coming, I can feel it,
How soft is the morning air!
Birds are singing, buds are peeping,
Life and joy are everywhere.
Ведущий 2:
The sun s so bright today
Because it is the Mother’s Day.
The sky is so blue today,
Because it is the Mother’s Day.
Our Mums are so nice today,
We wish them «Happy Mother’s Day! »

Today is the 8th of March. We would like to thank our Mums for everything and make them happy today.
Ведущий 2: Our Mums are the nicest, the kindest, the cleverest and the most careful in the world! But they are always busy, busy with their job, with household duties and with our problems.
Ведущий 1:
I agree with you. Our Mums get up early. But we don’t want to get up.
(На импровизированной кровати спит девочка. К ней подходит мама, наклоняется над ней тихо говорит.)
Mum:
Dear Kate!

It’s seven sharp!
Kate (не открывая глаз, сонным голосом):
Oh, Mummy, dear!
I can hardly hear
What you say.
Please let me stay
In my bed,
I’m a sleepy head.
Mum (тихонько трясет ее за плечо);
Sleepy Kate!
You are late!
Get up!
It’s eight o’clock sharp!
Kate (поднимает голову, оглядывается, и снова кладет голов на подушку):
Oh, Mummy, please,
Leave me in peace.
My eyes are shut.
I can’t get up.
Mum (сердится и настойчиво трясет девочку за плечо):
Lazy Kate!
I can’t wait!
Please get up!
It’s nine o’clock sharp!
Kate (садится на кровати и потягивается):
It’s Monday today.
Such a difficult day!
I’m so stressed
And a bit depressed,
And I need some rest
To be at my best.
Mum (подбегает к кровати с кувшином, громко топает ногой):
Shameless Kate!
Listen what I say!
It’s nearly nine and a quarter!
I’ll bring a bucket of water
And pour it out the pail
As my words and actions fail.
Kate (в ужасе вскакивает с постели и кричит):
Please, no, no, no!
It’s time for me to go.
(Мама вздыхает и смотрит, как Дочка убегает за кулисы).
Ведущий 1:
Such a way our Mums solve the first problem. That’s why our Mums are the most patient. We love our Mums and like to argue about who loves them best.
(На сцену выходят две девочки и мальчик).
Ведущий 2:
Who loves Mummy best?
Can you answer, little Fred?
Fred:
I love my Mummy best!
I give her flowers, white and red.
Ведущий 1:

May:
I love my Mummy best.
With her I always play.
Ведущий 2:

When she asks to help her
I always do so.

I think we can help our Mums every day. Who helps your Mums to clean the room?
(несколько девочек поют песню «Pretty or shiny».)

Ведущий 1:
We can cook, can’t we? So, let’s have a contest. There are some pictures on the table. You can see
food n them. Please, choose what you need for soup and and for a pie. Boys, you are welcome to the kitchen.
(2 мальчика получают задание выбрать картинки с продуктами, которые нужны для приготовления супа, 2 мальчика выбирают картинки для яблочного пирога. Среди нужных картинок можно положить несколько ненужных для этих блюд. Мальчики выбирают картинки и через 2 минуты показывают, называя их по-английски. Мамы оценивают конкурс)
Ведущий 2:

(Девочки накрывают на стол и поют песню «Helping mother set the table»)
