Начинаем со стихотворения:
Му Mother.
Who said “Good Night?”
When I was a child?
My Mother.
Who ran to help me when I fell?
And who could funny stories tell? My Mother.
Who sits at my head when I am in bed? My Mother.
Who is so nice, who is so kind? Another so dear you’ll never find? My Mother.
My name is Boris. I shall speak about the sights, the capital of the country, the cities and interesting facts.
The population of the United Kingdom is about 60 million people, and as you know, London is the capital of country. London is 2 thousand years old; 8 million people live in the capital.
If you have the opportunity to travel in England, you can see many cities: Oxford, Cambridge, Liverpool, Edinburg, Stratford- on Avon and so on. There are oldest Universities: in Oxford, Cambridge and in London, where Russian citizens can study. I have a dream; I want to go to London, visit Manchester, Glasgow and many other big cities. I want to know about the legend of Stonehenge, in Salisbury plain, in the south of England. These stones structures appeared 5 thousand years ago.
The poem: The ballad of Stonehenge.
Now these days are gone and the people are gone,
But the midsummer sunrise still shines on the stones, And the midwinter sunset still comes with the rain, And Stonehenge greets them on Salisbury Plain.
During my traveling I see many red buses, red postboxes and red telephones. This red colour is the tradition of England. Who can say why is “red”? потому, что всегда туман и людям легко ОРИЕНТИРОВАТЬСЯ В ТУМАНЕ.
А теперь проведём небольшую игру - разминку. Я называю 1-ый город в Англии, вы хлопаете в ладоши, 2-ой город - вы поднимаете руки вверх, 3-ий город - вы топаете, а если я назову Ливерпуль - называем известную группу «Биттлз»; а если столицу - вы встаёте и хором говорите - London. Thank you, very much!
Следующее задание: музыкальное. У вас на руках есть листочки с одним куплетом из песни «Подмосковные вечера», на английском языке. Давайте споём эту песню все вместе.

Who was the National Hero of Britain, the defender of the poor people? Robin Hood was from the Sherwood Forest.
He was bom in London. Later he lived in the USA. He was a film actor (Charlie Chaplin).
He was a writer. He wrote stories about Sherlock Holmes (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle).
She was a writer. She wrote 75 detective stories (Agatha Christie).
Who Was It?
He was one of the world's greatest writers. He was born in Stratford-upon-Avon, England,
where he received a classical education.
The Stratford school was a difficult place at that time. School days were long, and only on
the holidays could he have a real rest.
At the age of 18 he married Anne Hathaway, and they had three children. He wrote plays
for the famous Globe Theatre.
He achieved great recognition during his life-time. He wrote three types of plays: histories,
comedies and tragedies.
He was an English novelist, a short-story writer and a poet. He was born in Bombay, India,
in 1865 where his father worked at that time.
When he was six years old, his parents sent the boy to England where he attended school.
At the age of 17 he returned to India where he worked as a newspaper reporter for several
yeas.
At 21 he published his first book of poems. A year later he wrote a book of short stories
about India .He married an American girl.
He is best known for his works for children, especially” The JUNGLE Book». He was
awarded the Nobel Prize for literature in 1907.
