1. Приветствие.

- Children, today we are going to learn the names of animals. Today we have an unusual lesson! We are going to attend the zoo. We’ll see a lot of animals and guess the riddles.

1. Лексический материал.

- Today we’ll attend the zoo. Shall we remember the names of the animals. Listen to the song and say. What animals did you hear?

- Let’s open your books at page 58 and check it. Look at the text of this song. Let’s sing this song all together!

- Right you are! I see you know the animals very well.

2. Закрепление лексического материала.

- Children, these animals have a message for us. We should solve a crossword puzzle! Look at the pictures! Who can do the following tasks?

4. Продолжение работы. Грамматический материал.

- Today we are talking about funny animals ,what they usually do and what they are doing at the moment of speaking. In other words, we are going to remember Present Simple and Present Continuous. Let’s remember when we use these grammatical constructions.

Ученики внимательно слушают и стараются услышать названия жи-вотных. Затем учащиеся произносят, о каких живот-ных поеся в этой песенке.

5. Закрепление грамматического материала.

- Look at ex. 1, page 60. You are going to work in pairs. Look at the pictures and say what are the animals doing now?

- And what do the animals usually do?

- Your task is to answer my questions and to use the right tense (Present Simple or Present Continuous). Look at the example and do the same.

6. Игра.

- Let’s play a game divided into teams. I’ll read some sentences about animals and you should agree or disagree.

A giraffe lives in Africa. It has got a long neck. +
