Открытый урок в 5 классе по теме «Животные».


 Тема: In the world of animals      

 Цель: Совершенствование речевых навыков и навыков чтения учащихся по теме "Animals".

Задачи:

1. Общеобразовательные:

Активизация навыков устной речи.

Совершенствование навыков чтения и монологической речи.

Развитие лексических навыков по теме «Животные. Среда обитания».

Активизация навыков диалогической речи и аудирования.

2.Развивающие:

Развивать речевые способности, психологические функции, связанные с речевой деятельностью (память, внимание, мышление).

Развивать познавательные процессы, память, воображение, фонематический слух;

Развивать мыслительные навыки: обобщение, систематизация, логическое и образное мышление;

Формировать познавательные умения: задавать вопросы и отвечать на них, доказывать, рассуждать.

3. Воспитательные:

Воспитывать интерес к изучению английского языка через развитие эмоциональной сферы учащихся в процессе использования различных методических приемов.

Воспитывать доброту и любовь к окружающему миру;

Воспитывать осознание роли человека во взаимодействии с миром животных;

Способствовать снижению уровня тревожности и преодолению замкнутости в общении.

4. Здоровьесберегающие:

Создание комфортных условий для организации и обеспечения образовательного процесса.

Оборудование:

Слайды с изображением животных для фонетической и речевой зарядки.

Карточки с заданиями, карточки с изображением животных.                                                                                    

Компьютер; мультимедийный проектор.


Ход урока:


1. Организационный момент    

    Good morning boys and girls. (Good morning.)  

    It’s time to say “Hello” (Hello)   And start our lesson.

 I’m very glad to see too children! Sit down, please! Tell me please, who is on duty today? Who is absent today? What date is today? How are you? What season is now? Do you like the weather today?

        Приём "Мозговой штурм": Let's read the poem and translate it. 

This is a big green frog.

This is a big white dog.

This is a big grey bat.

     This is a big black cat.

2. Целеполагание.

Dear boys and girls! I want you to guess the theme of our lesson today. I’ll give you the description of different objects and you’ll write down the first letters of it and find out the theme of our lesson.

A – the first letter of the alphabet

N – the number that goes before ten

I – delicious cold dessert that we like in summer

M – Small grey creature that likes cheese

A – round in different colours and tasty

L – fruit that we put in the cup of tea

S – in the morning we see it in the sky

Good. What is the theme of the lesson? What do we talk about? Pets and animals.

Yes, you are right. Today we are going to speak about animals and pets.

3. Фонетическая зарядка.

Let’s learn the new tongue twister. It will help to you pronounce the English sounds and words better. Will you read it as quickly as you can?

That fat black cat sat on a mat.

Let’s revise the names of some animals. Look at the pictures and repeat after me!

- I’m sure you like to play different games. Let’s play the game «Guess». I’ll describe different animals. You will try to name them.

Now guess my riddles. Riddles:

  1. It can be very terrible and aggressive. It likes to eat meat and fish. It is very wild. It lives in the water. It is long and green. What animal is it? (Crocodile)

  2. It has a sweet tooth. It can swim very well but it lives in the forest. It likes to eat honey. (Bear)

  3. It is a nice and cunning animal. It lives in the forest. It likes to eat mice, rabbits and other small animals. (Fox)

  4. It has a beautiful yellow fur with black stripes. (Tiger)

  5. It lives in the trees. It can climb and jump very well. It can be big or small. It is funny and clever. It likes bananas very much. (Monkey)

  6. This animal is very unusual one. It can’t walk, run, and fly. It can only jump. It lives in Australia.

  7. (Kangaroo)

  8. This animal lives in the forest. It is neither big nor small. It likes to eat carrots and it is afraid of a fox and a wolf. This animal runs very fast. (A hare.)

  9. This animal is very big. It is grey and sometimes white. It has a very long nose. It lives in India and Africa. It likes to eat leaves and grass. (An elephant.)

  10. This animal lives at home or in the street. It is a man is friend. It can run, but can is fly and climb. It is very clever and friendly. (A dog.)

  11. This animal lives in the river or near the water. It is green. It can jump and swim, but it can neither run nor climb. (A frog.)

  12. This animal is red and sly. It likes hens, cocks, hares and ducks. It lives in the forest. (A fox.)

  13. It is grey. It can run, jump and walk. It is very small. It likes bread and cheese. It lives in the house. (A mouse.)

  14. This animal can be black, grey, white or red. It lives in the house. It can catch a grey mouse. It likes meat, fish and milk. It can run, jump, climb and walk. (A cat.)

Students: bear, elephant, whale.

Teacher: Which animals are small?

Students: bird, frog, bat.

Teacher: Which animals do you like?

Students: give their own answers.

Teacher: Which animals are you afraid of?

Students: give their own answers.

5. Физминутка «Актер»

 Children, I know you like animals and like to watch them. Now you can tell us about your favorite wild or domestic animal. But you can use your tongue to do it. You will show us the animal using your body.

Ученики  по очереди должны изобразить какое-нибудь животное, изображая его повадки, походку или движения. Задача детей - «узнать» животное.  

Развитие умений отвечать на вопросы и строить высказывание по заданной схеме

 .Look at the picture and answer the questions. 

T. What animal is it?

P. It is a fox                                      .

T. Where does it live?

P. It lives in the forest.                                            

T. What color is it?

P. It is red.

T. What can it do?

P. It can catch hares.

6. Продолжение работы по теме урока.

Say where  animals live.  Используя схему ученики отвечают на вопросы “Где обитают животные?” и “Какие животные живут (в горах, в пустыне, в реке и т.д.). Учитель использует флэш-карточки с изображениями животных.

Student 1 – Dolphins live in the ocean.
Teacher – Do you know where elephants live?
Student 2 – Elephants live in Africa.
