1. Good morning, my dear friends! You may take your seats! I am very pleased to see you today! How are you today? Oh, I am glad for you. What lessons did you have before? Did you have good marks?

2. To start our lesson I want you to listen to the poem, it was written by Ishu Gupta, he is 8 years old and from India.

Now, can you tell me what are we going to speak about today? Yes, you are absolutely right. The theme of our lesson is “Home, sweet home” and we are going to speak about our homes. We shall listen to some song and do some tasks.

3. Are you ready for work? OK. Let’s sing the song about animals in the house and remember the names of the rooms.

Do you fancy this song? Now, please do the tasks:

1. Remember all the animals and what rooms are they in.

2. Act out the dialogue about your flat.

It’s time for another song. It’s called “Home, sweet home”Listen, read and sing altogether.

As I think this song is about a place we need to be happy. Do you agree with me?

I will give you the words of the song and we’ll discuss the idea of this song. Look at the underlined words. Do you know what they mean?

Tell me, please, what does singer mean when she says “home is always full of love”?

Now you will be divided into 3 groups. You should draw a picture “Home of my dream”. You may use facts from the song and your own ideas. You’ll have 5 min. Then one of you will present your project to the class.

8. To sum up our discussion about place we call “home”, I want to thank you for your participation. It was really interesting to find out your personal opinions on this topic. Do you enjoy our lesson today? Tell me please what can you do now? What do you like most: the poem, songs or may be your singing? Your work was excellent during the lesson, so all of you will get excellent marks today. Your home task is to make up a short poem about home.

Учащиеся слушают стихотворение «Мой дом», затем угадывают тему урока.

Учащиеся слушают и поют песню «Животные в моем доме».

Затем выполняют задания:

1. Вспомнить всех животных и в каких они комнатах.

2. Разыграть диалог о своей квартире.

Дежурный проводит зарядку.

Учащиеся слушают песню «Дом, милый дом». Обсуждается основная мысль песни.

Затем, класс делится на 3 группы. Учащиеся в группах готовят небольшую презентацию «Дом мечты».

Учащиеся подводят итоги. Что нового они узнали на уроке, что им больше всего запомнилось, понравилось.
