Billy Harrison and His Birthday
Mr Raymond Harrison is a pilot. His family is not very big: his mother Mrs Harrison, his wife May Harrison and his son. Billy is thirteen today. It is his birthday. His birthday cake with 13 candles is on the table. Sweets, oranges, apples, bananas and grapes are on the table too.
There goes a doorbell. Peter, Roy and Colin are at the door. “Hello, Billy,” they say. “Happy birthday!”
Billy and his friends are in the room. “These are your presents,” say the boys. Billy can see a toy train
and a new video game. He likes his presents. He is happy. “Thank you,” Billy says to his friends.
