An ideal family – a myth or reality.

- An ideal family is more like a myth than reality in modern life?

- I should never have thought that it is such a difficult thing.

- To my mind and ideal family is a myth, because an ideal family can’t exist in an ordinary life.

- Every family has always some problems.

- Unfortunately many members of the family don’t help each other and that is why there are problems. And an ideal family can’t exist in reality.

- Well, but I know some families where there is love, care and respect. These are ideal families.

- An ideal family is a dream, because a family can’t exist isolated from the society. And there is no ideal society without problems.

- Don’t be so pessimistic. If there is a purpose of making an ideal family you may have it. Everything depends on us ourselves. If we believe in positive and try to do the best for it, everything will be OK.

- Many men many minds.

The generation gap: myth or reality?

-  The question is whether there is the generation gap.

-  I think the generation gap isn’t myth it’s reality.

-  I must say I can see no reason to oppose. To my mind this gap has been forever.

-  The society itself changes greatly and people’s characters are changed too.

-  Yes it always changes.

-  As a matter of fact parents in comparison with children understand all the events in their way, but the children understand these events in their way.

-  But real parents will do their best to get well with their children.

-  Certainly. Both sides should try to understand and help each other.

The problem of family happiness

-  Hello my friend. How are you?

-  Thank, you I’m fine and you.

-  That’s all right. I heard you going to marry.

-  Yes. Therefore I want to ask you about ups and downs of a family life.

-  At first you understand that you were meant for each other. But after marriage you can’t understand what you must do for your family life to be happy.

- Tell me please about problems of family life.

- Well, I suppose that the first problem is housework, because I work every day and come home late.

-  What about your wife?

-  She works every day too.

-  Don’t you help her about the house? I think no matter how hard you work you must help her.

-  I suppose the housework was evidently meant to wives.

-  I don’t agree. It sounds egoistic. But anyway, thank you. I learned much from you.
