Mother's Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, motherhood and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in March or May. In Russia it is celebrated on 25 of November this year.

День матери – праздник, когда мы чествуем мать семьи, материнство и роль матери в обществе. Он отмечается в разные даты во многих частях Земли, чаще всего в марте или мае. В России день матери в 2018 году празднуется 25 ноября.

• Do something she likes together. Spend a whole day with her.

• Take her somewhere she likes to go.
• Take time to make a special card for her listing out why she is special and why you love her.
• Write a special poem for your mom.

Things not to do on Mother’s Day

• Wake up late and make her wait for you.
• Talk on your phone or messaging all the time.
• Leave your room messy and untidy.
• Don’t let mom do household chores – it’s Mother’s Day!
