Let me introduce myself. My name is Natasha. I m I am a pupil of the 5^th Form. I study well.I learn many subjects at school.I like Russian, English and history. My hobby is drawing, handmade, beadwork. I attend a circle of beadwork. I want to be a teacher.

A village is a quiet, peaceful place far from the city, which is a perfect place for rest. Every man has his own Motherland. It`s the place, where a man was born. May be this place is usual and uninteresting for other people, but for me it is the dearest place in the world. There is no place like home    I am a happy girl, because I live in a wonderful place Kutana, a small native land, dear to my heart. My native village is situated in Aldansky District and it’s called Kutana. The name of the village comes from the root of the word "quagmire".My country is very nice. I grew up in this village, as my parents live in Aldan. So, my grandmother raised me and I feel there at home. My grandma is a doctor, grandpa is pensioner.There are a lot of houses here. Some houses are small, some houses are tall . People live in one-storey houses. There is a school and a hospital, a club in my village. There is also a shop. We can buy all we need there .The village school is not very big building made of wood. There are about 75 pupils study in our school. In my class study 5 pupils. Four girls and one boy. The children like their school because of interesting social activities there . The villagers grow potatoes, cabbages, carrots, beat, tomatoes and cucumbers. They keep cows, horses, hens and pigs. There are fields and forest round the village. There is a forest nearby. It is very beautiful and big. We like to go for a walk there. And often we have a picnic in the forest. I like pleasant smell of leaves and flowers.

My country is very green in summer. Flowers are red, yellow and pink. Many fields and forests are round it. I like to gather in the spring the first flower nurguhun. My family goes to the forest to gather berries and mushrooms. The forests are rich in a lot of kind berries .Example ,honeysuckle, ohta, raspberries, birdcherry, moss. The river Aldan and lakes are rich in sturgeon, pikes, elpots, taimens, grayling, There are many animals in the forests sables, ermines, elks, roes, snow-rams, otters, musk-rats and others. Our fathers like to hunt.

A nice river Aldan runs near the village. But a river is the most important place for us. We can spend all day long swimming and playing in summer. The people of the village like to bathe in it in summer, when the weather is hot. In winter, even if the weather is cold, the children ski, skate and play hockey. There are always a lot of snow in our village There is a forest nearby. It is very beautiful and big. We like to go for a walk there. And often we have a picnic in the forest. I like pleasant smell of leaves and flowers.

About 500 people live in the village. In Kutana live evenks,yakuts.They are engaged in cattle breeding ,reindeer breeding and hunting. Reindeer breeders live in the forest and feed reindeer.

Each people has its own customs and tradition. Because we celebrate our national holiday. Bakaldyn is the national Evenky holiday of the spring. In our school, this holiday walks at the end of the school year. At the beginning of the holiday, all those present attend different national traditions of the evenks. Children actively participate in the contest of national clothes. Everyone dances the Evenk dance Saedie.

In our school there is folk dance ensemble Birakan. This word means a trickle. The children dance Evenki dances. Our children take part in different competitions in Yakutsk and take prizes. They are laureates of many competitions.

Our Kutana is birthplace of the talented singer olonkho Nikolay Trofimov. He left many songs of olonkho, which are famous not only in Yakutia but also in Russia. We are proud him and read his works.

My village is built every year. In 1989 there was a great flood. After that out village is divided into two parts. Residents built new houses. We use cellular communication, internet. We live 500 km from the city of Aldan and Yakutsk. But we go by taxi to Yakutsk. We go in the summer on a motor boat, in winter by car. The people of my village are very hospitable, they are always glad to meet the guests.

I like my village very much. To live in the country is great! I invite everyone to

visit our Kutana. The nature of Kutana is so beautiful.
