I. Greeting and org.moment.

T: Good morning, boys and girls! I am glad to see you.

Cl: We are glad to see you, too.

T: Sit down, please.

T: What date is it today?

P1: Today is the … th of May.

T: What day of the week is it today?

P2: It is Thursday.

II.Warm up.

T: What season is it now?

P3: It is spring.

T: Lola, what is your favorite season?

P4: My favorite season is ….

T: Children? Do you remember any poems about the seasons?

Cl: Spring is green, (Slide №1.)

Summer is bright,

Autumn is yellow,

Winter is white.

T: Look at the display. Repeat after me, please.

T: Nice, now let’s compose our own poem. Look at the screen. What’s this?

Ps: The armchair, the carpet, the lamp, the window.

T: Repeat after me.

Nice! At home try to compose your own poems.

IV. The new theme:

T: So, how do you think, what is the topic of our lesson?

Cl: My flat. My home. My house.

T: Yes, you are right! Today you will work in groups. The first row will be the first group, the second row - the second group, the third row – the third group. For each correct answer I will give you a smile, at the end of the lesson we will count them and choose the best teem and the best pupils. Ready?

First of all let’s make up the proverbs from these words.. Let’s check! Look at the screen.

Gr1: There is no place like home.

T: Now, work in pairs. What is there in the kitchen/ bathroom/ living-room/bedroom? Begin your answers with there is/there are.

VII. Relaxation.

T: I see that you are tired. Imagine that you are at home. What do you usually do? What room are you in? Relax and at the same time guess where are your classmates. Then I will give smiles to the most attentive pupils.

VIII. Complete the sentences.(slides 31-33.)

T: And now look at the screen. Let’s remember the prepositions. Repeat after me, please. Translate. Look at the picture and complete the sentences with the correct prepositions.

IX. Play the game. (slide 34.)

T: Work in groups. I will give you furniture. Listen to my sentences and put them in the room correctly. Then one pupil should describe the room.
