I want to tell you about my native town. The name of my city is Nizhnevartovsk. It was founded in 1972. On the 9 th of March 2017 Nizhnevartovsk celebrates its anniversary. It will become 45 years old. The population of it is about 270 000 people.

Nizhnevartovsk stands on the Ob River. It is famous for its oil and gas.

It is very beautiful to each season. Winter is cold and snowy; summer is short, bright and hot .

There are some interesting sights, such as Monument to the Conquerors of Samotlor, the Monument to the fallen soldiers, the Monument to soldiers-internationalists and Alley of Honor of aviation.

Every year we have festival called "Samotlor Nights“. It is a festival of art, work and sports .
