NATURE. THE WEATHER.

THE INDIAN AND TWO TRAVELLERS

Two men were travelling in a very wild part of America. They didn’t see any traces of civilization for many days. They saw a few wooden houses and tents where the Indians lived.

One day they met an old Indian man. He was very clever and knew everything about the forest and the animals living in it. He could speak English well.

“ Can you tell us what the weather will be like during the next days?” one of the travellers asked him. It will be rainy and cloudy. Then there will be snowy for a day

or two days. But then the sunshine will come again and the weather will be fine.

“ This old Indian seems to know the nature better than we know with our civilization”, the man said to his friend. Then he turned to the old Indian man, “Tell me, how do you know that? The Indian answered, “I heard it over the radio”.
