Целu урока:

1. актуализация навыков устной речи по теме «Известные люди»;

2. повторение грамматического материала (артикли);

3. тренировка лексико-грамматических навыков (суффиксы).

Оборудование: транскрипционные значки.

Ход урока

1. Организационный момент

Цель: настроить учащихся на доброжелательное общение на английском языке, ознакомить с целями урока.

- Good morning, boys and girls! (Good morning, Marina Vladimirovna!)

- I аm glad to seу you. (We are glad to see you too.)

- How аrе you'? (We аrе finе, thаnk you, and how are you?)

- I'm fine, thank you.

- Who is absent today? (All pupils are present.

- And ,who is оn duty today'? (Kate is оn duty today.)

- Today we remember the articles and suffixes of nouns.

1. Фонетическая зарядка

Цель: отработка звуков.

- And now it’s time to practise today’s vocabulary. Look at the blackboard, please. Can you read the words? Read the words in pairs, loudly and in a whisper. Divide the words into several groups.

Запись на доске: opera-dancer, scientist, writer, musician, doctor, ballet-dancer, teacher, driver, businessman, banker, politician, architect, artist, sportsman, singer, seller, actor.

- I want you to open your books, page 90, exercise 37. this exercise was your hometask. Who is ready to start?

• Let’s work in pairs now. You will find out what famous people your partner knows. Look at the table of exercise 39, page 90. ask him or her and fill in the table.

Вопросы для учащихся: What artists does your partner like? What are his favourite composers? What Sasha’s favourite actors? Do you like the same opera-singers?

- Let’s remember the articles in the English language. What articles do you know? (a, an, the, zero article). Today we shall remember “a” an its variant “an”.

- And now let’s do exercise 40, page 91 from your textbook.

- Now we know how to use the articles. You will work in your exercise-books. Open them and write down the date, please. Read the task of exercise 41, page 91.

- Your time is up. I want you to open your dairies and write down your homework.

- Do you like our lesson today? What do you like to do? It’s time to say “good-bye”.
