I am writing to you due to the fact that you will be taking my place in our Moscow office soon. I suppose it is essential to give you some information about my job and some advice about how to settle in the city.

To start with, my job as a marketing executive includes a variety of responsibilities. It involves working with sales and advertising departments. In my current position I am supposed to analyze the market and present the ideas to promote our products. This job requires a host of skills, a lot of energy, enthusiasm and creativity. It can be mundane and monotonous on occasion, especially when you submit some reports or prepare presentations. However, it is not mentally or physically strenuous. Given the fact that you are efficient and conscientious, you will manage to contend with all the challenges.

Furthermore, I have some advice about how to settle in Moscow and to deal with some issues concerning paperwork, tax-documents and a bank account. You will need to apply to the office secretary Alexandra, and she will help you to handle with it. Moreover, you will have to adjust to a new working environment and working practices, to the way how hierarchy works in the office. A lot of guidance will give you an opportunity to cope with it and to realize your full potential. I would also recommend attending team building events and dinner parties since they will give you a chance to refresh your social circle. Consequently, you will get insider knowledge about our culture and will be able to look further than what is obvious. I also hope you will find accommodation in my flat to your liking.
