Тема: Our life is impossible without electricity

Тип урока: Обобщение и систематизация знаний и умений учащихся

Цель: создание условий для систематизации изученного материала, выявление уровня овладения системой знаний и умений.

Задачи:

1. Повторить изученные лексические единицы, личные местоимения, глаголы настоящего времени, вопросительные предложения.

2. Развивать умения и навыки устной речи с учетом будущей профессии.

3. Развивать умения и навыки чтения.

Планируемые результаты обучения: формирование потребности в практическом использовании знаний английского языка в различных жизненных ситуациях и мотивации к дальнейшему овладению иностранным языком; умение оперировать в процессе общения активной лексикой в соответствии с коммуникативной задачей; умение воспринимать информацию на слух с опорой на иллюстрации и понимать содержание текста, построенного на изученном материале; умение составлять высказывание и профессии электромонтера.

Оборудование: компьютер, интерактивная доска, карточки.

Ход урока

1. Good morning, dear students! How are you today? I’m glad to see you, sit down, please. Who is absent today?

2. Students, today we’ll speak about many useful electrical appliances and about your future profession.

3. Now we need repeat all the words we know. Look at the screen and repeat after me: electric, electric fan, electric light, electric lighting, electric engineering, electric guitar, electric razor, electricity, electrode, electrodynamics, electric fire, electrician. Ok! Good! Now, translate them.

4. Now, students answer my questions.

1. What is electricity?

2. Do people all over the world use electric appliances?

3. Can you imagine your life without electricity?

4. What is electrodynamics?

5. Is your future profession dangerous? Why?

6. What electric inventions do you know?

7. What do you prefer: an electric tooth brush or ordinary?

( possible answers:

1. It is the pointedly movement of charged particles

2. Yes, they are.

3. No, we can’t. It is impossible.

4. It is the part of Physics.

5. Yes, it is. Because we work with electricity and it is very dangerous.

6. I know a computer, a tea- kettle and etc.

7. I prefer an electric tooth brush. I prefer an ordinary tooth brush.)

The fist source of energy was the energy of fire. Many thousands years passed before people learned how to use another source of energy – water, and then they had another servant – electricity. But people didn’t stop at electricity. They discovered another source of energy, many times more powerful – the atomic energy. What will human in future? What kind of energy will they try to use. May be nuclear energy or the energy of antimatter?

Now, answer my questions again.

1. What kind of energy do you know?

2. What energy man use mostly?

3. Is the atomic energy more powerful than the energy of electricity?

6. I can see you are tired, let’s have a dynamic pause. Imagine that you are robots now. Listen to music and dance like robots.

7. Today we also speak about domestic electric appliances. Look at the screen and name them: washing machine, dish – washing machine, mixer, microwave oven blender, massage, desk-lamp, tea-kettle, iron, shocker, TV, computer, refrigerator and many others. Why people use them?
